Segdoun Queen

This is Whitehirst Park's first ever podcast. It is an interview with a pupil who became Kilwinning's Segdoun Queen for 2006/2007. It isn't a polished performance but the children did all of the work themselves.Download p7_podcast_one.mp3

What a superb podcast. I can't believe it's the first time you've done it as you all sound like pro DJs. I'll put a link on my blog to your post. Bravo!

That was a great podcast! Thanks so much for making it. I hope you will make another!

Your podcast is so good it is hard to believe that this is your first podcast. I loved your story. Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone for surpporting the Whitehirst Park podcasters. I am one of them called Sally. Just to be honest, we could not have done this without Mrs Leslie our primary 7 teacher.

What a great podcast! Really enjoyed hearing about how the Princess is chosen. You all sounded very clear - enjoy your last few weeks of primary school and have a great time when you reach secondary!

Do you think you'll be able to make another podcast for your listeners before you carry on to secondary school?

Do you think you'll get your secondary school to start podcasting?!

Excellent, well done you have done really well. When will you be doing your next podcast? Lets hope your secondary school will allow you to podcast when you get there.

Very professional! Let's hope you've time to make another one before the holiday.

Your podcast is lovely. I especially liked hearing your accents and thank you for explaining how the queen is chosen as we don't have anything like this at our school.

Congratulations on the excellent podcast. I will be sharing it with our Yukon students.

Wow, the chorus of students was pretty well coordinated! I thought it was a pretty nice job for a first ever student-produced podcast. Congrats.

Wow! That podcast was really well done, and a lot of fun to listen to! It's inspired me to try and figure out how I would like to use one in my classroom of 7th graders (12-year-olds). Any ideas? Anyone over there interested in trying to collaborate on a project of some-sort? Let me know!
