S3 Sierra Leone Work

My S3 class has been learning about human rights in the world, and focusing on a slum community called Kroo Bay in Sierra Leone due to the excellent website produced by Save the Children with video clips, photos and sounds.

Kroo Bay

The pupils have discussed whether the people in Kroo Bay enjoy the same rights we do. They have also profiled a person, communicated with a student their age called Bilal in Kroo Bay, written a fact file about the community and produced a campaign to support the work of the Save the Children. S4 Train station

You have been learning how to ask for tickets at a train station. You will now have a little role-play test. To help you practice here are some possible dialogues. The first is an example of the teacher and the student. The other two are just the teacher speaking with pauses so that you can have a go at asking and answering the questions.
