Salut tout le monde!
S5/S6 pupils have been given a user name and password to use the scholar resources.
This is a great way to revise at home.
Your teacher will probably give you homework through the scholar program and remember ... teachers can check your progress and above all if you have actually done your homework so let's take it seriously :)
Bon courage à tous!
Madame Ponte
Salut tout le monde!
The Modern Languages blog is back!
This is a great tool to find out about what is going on within the Modern Languages Department. You can also find homework instructions and post comments: suggestions/ questions etc.
Voilà!

Salut les filles!
Just a reminder about your holiday programme of work:
Bonnes vacances!
Congratulations to the first pupils to reach to top of the Eiffel Tower, an incentive programme in Modern Languages which rewards pupils for good work. Pupils are rewarded for good work and effort by receiving merit 'stamps' which allows them to shade in a square on their Eiffel Tower record
card.
First to the top was Jill Marshall (1T2), quickly followed by Ellie Huxtable (1T2). Prizes were awarded by Mrs Prosser, Depute.

Canada Day – Dominion Day
On July 1, 1867, three small colonies joined together as the Dominion of Canada. Today 140 years later, we are a federation of ten provinces and three territories, stretching to the coasts of three oceans.
However, in Quebec, this federal holiday is less celebrated. Over there, July 1st is known as Moving Day. Each year, between 200,000 and 250,000 Quebec households move on or around July 1st, Canada Day. The government decided to move Moving Day to July 1st so that students would not have to move during the school year.
