Meldrum Academy

European Day of Languages - 26th September

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, the Modern Languages Department is organising the following events:

• For all S1 pupils: "European Collage - Modern Scots are Europeans" (Bring in any pictures, labels... of anything or anybody European; i.e. cars, sports personalities, food, drink, perfumes, clothing, etc.)

• For S1-S6 pupils: Design a poster conveying your impressions of Europe. There will be prices for the best ones! Bonne chance à tous !

• For S1-S6 pupils: French cinema: A French film with English subtitles will be shown over 3 lunch times (Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th, Friday 28th) in the Assembly Hall, starting promptly at 13:20. The film will be light-hearted and this should be a good fun experience. Bon film !

Un peu de divertissement !

Comme vous l'avez peut-être lu dans le journal Evening Express du mardi 4 septembre, la compagnie théâtrale Onatti vient à Meldrum Academy lundi 10 septembre.

La compagnie va jouer “Les garçons”, une pièce en français dirigé à un public de 14 à 16 ans.

As you may have read in the Evening Express on Tuesday 4th September, the Onatti Theatre Company is coming in Meldrum Academy on Monday 10th September.
The Company will be performing “Les garçons”, a play in French aimed at 14 to 16 year olds.
