Well we finally got the sound file on and it really does seem to have made a difference!
At the Tourist Office
I was most impressed with the amount that most of you said and the variety. Some of you need though to have taken on board the advice to react in some way to the information that you were given.
Most common mistake - a rather bizarre one - was that a few of you put acute accents where there are none eg Ca ouvre a quelle heure? being pronunced Ca ouvré/ Ca fermé/Ca couté
Pronunciation was good except for where you had to decide whether you should pronounce a letter or not eg les or c'est - this depend on whether the next word begins wth a vowel or not
I liked the "Merci quand meme" that one pupil found out how to say and used correctly twice when I wasn't able to give him the information he wanted.
I'll record a couple of the conversations and post them here.
I was also impressed by those who came in during thelunch break to do the tests so that they wouldn't have to worry about them at the weekend.
This is a sort of blog we can have loads of information i would like to appreciate the intelligence of this blog's owner

It took me several days to read it because I’d read it in snippets, leave to do something else, and then come back to it.
