S2 French / German Radio Project
In groups you are going to produce a radio show about you and your friends’ freetime activities. You do not have to tell the truth, you can be as imaginative as you want.
There are a few constraints however:
You should try to do it as a kind of news magazine programme with 1 person as presenter who introduces the show and links all the items this person will also act as producer and will be in charge of what goes out on air!!!!!!
You should also have someone to act as interviewer to ask the others questions.
The rest will have to answer various questions.
Think of a title for your radio show (or station)
Possible questions to be asked (you will have to put them into the appropriate language):
What sports do you do? How often? Why?
What else do you do in you freetime? When? Who with?
You should all be involved in writing your own scripts, but stronger members may need to lend their assistance.
You should start your show with a headline sequence e.g. “Today we are talking about The Gordon Schools’ pupils leisure activities”Introduce the people who will be speaking.
Use vocabulary you are confident with.
Once you have done your script we will record and edit the show, which will then be posted on the blog for the whole world to listen to. Don't worry about memorising lines as you will be working from a script.
All recording to be done by Thursday 12 October.
