Calling all S4's.Now's the time to really get into the goove with your revision.
Any language teacher worth your salt will tell you that the most effective way of learning a new language is to go to a country where that language is spoken and live there for a while. You will find that most MFL teachers have done that at some point in their lives, including myself (France, Cameroon, Germany.)
Obviously this is not possible for you at the moment; so how can real language learning situations be created. When I am there I do my best to do so in class. But unfortunately I'm not there, so we have to look to the web. I've done the searching for you and this wee presentation will hopefully bring to light some of the great resources available to you should you have a broadband webb connection at home, or access to one elsewhere.
First here are the links to the sites you will see in the film.
Radio Lingua Network: a series of podcasts in various languages aimed at beginners and intermediate learners
The Verbcast: a series of podcasts taking you painlessly through verb conjugation in various tenses. Hypnotic.
Livemocha: social language learning. Interactive language learning, 121 instruction from REAL people. Just like living there.
Mango: online language lessons for free. Full interactivity, audio from native speakers, vocabulary building exercises.
